Mr. Calvin Smith, age 90 of Hope , Arkansas passed away, Sunday, October 30, 2016 in Texarkana . He was born in Judsonia , Arkansas on February 8, 1926 to Joe Henry and Martha Ann Tucker Smith. He retired from TG& Y as a Retail Manager. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hope, a 32nd Mason of the Whitfield Lodge #239, a Shriner and a longtime member of the Century Bible Class. Calvin is preceded in death by his parents; Joe Henry and Martha Ann Tucker Smith, two brothers; Oliver and Bill Smith.

Survivors include; his wife of 65 years, Mrs. Donna Smith of Hope, his son, David Smith, wife, Stephanie of Hope, two daughters;, Kathy Celestine, husband, Tom of Houston, Texas, Ann Stephenson of Cave City, Arkansas, a brother; Herbert Smith of Houston, TX, grandchild; Matthew Stephenson and  two step-grandchildren; Austin and Autumn Celestine, other family members and friends.

Visitation 6:00 to 8:00pm , Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.

Funeral service 2:00pm Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Hope, with Rev. Steve Johnson and Rev. Keenan Williams officiating. Graveside service 2:00 pm , Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, Arkansas .
