Mr. Carl Dougan, age 79 of Prescott passed away, Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 4, 1935 in Emmet, Arkansas to Sidney Sutton and Margaret V. McKelroy Dougan. Mr. Dougan was a Church of Christ minister and a carpenter. He is a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and a gospel preacher for over 60 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Rhonda, two brothers; J.R. and Raymond Dougan and three sisters; Lily Stewart, Ora Snell-Avery and Martha Scroggin. Survivors include; his wife of 48 years, Roberta Dougan of Prescott, son, John Raymond Dougan, wife, Patricia of Ashland, Missouri, daughter; Janice Fulton, husband, Allen of Hope, brother; Benny Ray Dougan of Hope, sister; Helen Morris of Gurdon, five grandchildren: Kristofer Scott, Tiffany Lewis, Hunter Dougan, Heather Dougan and Rebekah Fulton and two great-grandchildren other family members and friends. Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday, October 3, 2014 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. Funeral service 9:30am, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Chapel in Prescott.
