Carl Norman May age 51 passed away on March 20, 2018 at his home in Hope, Arkansas. Carl was born on September 4, 1966 in Tyler, TX to Jack May and JoAnna Carnes May. Carl graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1985. He attended Tyler Junior College in Tyler, TX. Carl graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX in 1995 with degrees in Geology, Horticulture and Poultry Science.

Carl had a passion for geology and doing activities with his twin nephews Robert and Richard Ellis. Carl is preceded in death by his father Jack May, nephew SSGT. Robert Ellis, and grandparents Edward and Clara May and Wes and Etta Carnes.

Carl is survived by his mother JoAnna May, sister Carolyn Hudson, nephew Richard Ellis and wife Leslee, aunt Patsy Glasgow, and great nephews and nieces Kingston and Ava Ellis, Liberty and Gabriel Ellis and many cousins and friends.

Memorial service is planned on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Stamps-Landmark Missionary Church, 1026 Hope, Stamps, AR., at 6:00 p.m.
