Mrs. Carlene Redmond, age 74 of Emmet, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021. She was born August 27, 1947 to Carl and Margaret Nolen, in Forrest City, Arkansas. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Emmet. Mrs. Carlene enjoyed quilting, cooking, and canning. She had won several county fair ribbons with her delicious preserves. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Redmond; sisters, Patricia Hutto and Diane Rich; brother, Leo Nolen; and great-grandson, Landon Hill.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, James Hodges of Hope; grandchildren, James Wilburn of Hot Springs, Racheal Griffith of Hope, Jacob Hodges of Hope; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Hodges, Lexi Guevara, Ashton Wilburn, Ashlyn Griffith; two brothers, David Nolen and Billy Nolen, and a host of family and friends.

No public services will be held at this time.
