Mrs. Carolyn Bourdess, age 73 of Prescott, Arkansas, Passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 in Prescott. Carolyn was born September 4, 1944 in Prescott, Arkansas to Dalton and Lily Auld Buchanan. She was retired form Firestone Rubber Products as an inspector and was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church in Bodcaw. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Elizabeth Buchanan, and one great grandchild.

Survivors include; her husband of 53 years Tony Bourdess, four sons; Willie Bourdess, wife  Rebecca of Greenville, South Carolina, Leslie Bourdess, wife Amy, of Cordova, Alaska, David Bourdess, wife Rebecca , of Augusta, Georgia and Johnny Bourdess, of Prescott, Arkansas, one daughter; Brenda Bratton (Russell Lee Morrow) of Prescott, Arkansas, two brothers; Bill Buchanan, wife Kathy, of Prescott, Arkansas and Edward Buchanan, wife Vicky, of Justin, Texas, twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00pm at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Monday, October 9, 2017 at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Bodcaw. with Bro. Joe Brown and Bro. David Ellenburg officiating.
