Mrs. Carolyn Duke, age 80 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born on July 7, 1936 in Crossett, Arkansas to James T. and Rose Elma Maxwell Walker.  She was a retired nursing home administrator and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Hope.  Mrs. Duke is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Jesse Duke.

Survivors include; three sons; Gordon Lewis, wife, Madison of Mont Clair, CA, Rich Cooley of Phoenix, AZ and Michael Malone Duke of Stanton, CA, a daughter; Malinda Jane Hanania of Buena Park, CA, two brothers; William Walker of Brandon, Florida and Julian Walker of Crossett, AR, two sisters; Sharon Payne of Crossett, AR and Janie Moore of LaGuna Park, TX and eight grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.
