Mrs. Carolyn Russell, age 76 of Hope, AR passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Texarkana, TX. Mrs. Carolyn was born September 30, 1943 in Springhill, AR to Cecil and Ada Bell Byrom Sanders. She was a member of the Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope, AR where she gained a special place in her heart for her Sunday school family.

Mrs. Carolyn lived her years in Hope, AR working as a title researcher for Hempstead County Abstract and Title Company. She enjoyed spending her free time gardening, reading her bible, and making Christmas cookies.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son; Mark Russell, one brother; W.T. Sanders, and four sisters; Jennie Duckett, Cecile Lane, Kathy Sanders Bass, and Vicki Lynn Sanders.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Charles Russell of Hope, two sons; William Russell and Phillip Russell, wife Kelly, three brothers; Bill Sanders, Gary Sanders, Ricky Sanders, all of Spring Hill, three sisters; Frances Adams of Hope, Brenda Watson of Emmett, Joyce Black, husband Jimmy of Guernsey, six grandchildren; Jacob, Lakin, Dalton, Jack, Courtney, Dustin, three great-grandchildren; Isaac, Layne, Addie and one daughter-in-law; Selina Russell.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 24, 2020 at Foster Cemetery with Bro. Chris Vines officiating. Burial to follow at Foster Cemetery, Springhill, AR.
