Mrs. Carolyn West, age 77 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at her home. She was born June 13, 1938 to Eddie and Thalia Moody West in Hope, Arkansas. Mrs. West was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Hope, and she was a medical technician. She had one of the most genuine hearts filled with caring and kindness. Her favorite love of life was that for all animals and people that knew her. She had a very special interest in the Spanish Migrant Center and the Spanish Mission. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harold West; a sister; Edna Faye West.

Mrs. West is survived by, niece; Virginia Thomas of Cabot, cousins; Margie Dooley and her husband J.C. of Hope, Wilson West and his wife Alice of Hope, Earl Harris and his wife Dorothy of Cleburne, Texas, Ronald West and his wife Margaret of Shreveport, Louisiana, and two great nieces; Kim and Jennifer.

Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00pm Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
