Obituary

Mr. Cecil Ray Faught, age 80, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, at his home in Texarkana. He was born May 17, 1932, in Hope, Arkansas, to Chester R. and Cortelia Foster Faught. He was a Retired Fireman from the Hope Fire Department after 20 years, retired from Klipsch & Associates, former co/owner of Chimney Sweeps of Hope, and former owner/operator of Faught Tree Service. He was a member of Liberty Eylau Baptist Church of Texarkana. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, D. L. Faught and C. L. Faught. Mr. Faught is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann Campbell Faught, a son, Gregory Faught and wife Doris of Hope, two daughters, Susan Beasley and husband David of Hope, Cecilia Ann Crump and husband Larry of Texarkana, Texas, a sister Merlene Faught of Hope, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous other family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturday, May 4, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. Funeral service for Mr. Faught will be 2:30 pm, Sunday, May 5, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, with Dr. Dwight Lowrie and Bro. Travis Young officiating. Burial will follow in Ayers Cemetery in Hope.
