Mr. Cecil Jester, age 93 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, February 7, 2016 at his home.  Mr. Jester was born in Ben Lomond, Arkansas on July 1, 1922 to Bishop Joseph and Jennie Belle Corley Jester. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hope, a US Navy Veteran serving in World War II and was retired from Schnee-Moorehead Chemical Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Ruby Young Jester, brothers Merrill C. Jester, Frank Bishop Jester, Herschel M. Jester, Clarence Jester and Howard Raymond Jester and sister; Royalene Jester

Survivors include; two sons; Gene Jester, wife, Jeannie of Mebane, NC, Michael Jester, wife, Laura of Garland, TX, two daughters; Linda Willis, husband, Bob of Hope, Rhonda Thweatt, husband, Donnie of Rogers, Arkansas, brother; Robbie Jester, wife Verlene of Mineral Springs, sister Mildred Truly, husband, Bill of Lockesburg, six grandchildren: Jon Jester, wife, Myra, David Jester, wife, Heather, Dawn Drewitz, husband, David, Staci Kenzel, Samantha Jester and Kevin Jester; eight great-grandchildren:

Lillian Jester, Margaret Jester, Jack Jester, Ashton Kenzel, Braxton Foster, Charlie Jester, River Jester and Olivia Bailey.

Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope,

Funeral service, 2:30pm, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church, with Dr. Gene Jester officiating.  Burial to follow in Wrights Chapel Cemetery in Mineral Springs, Arkansas.  Arrangements by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director.
