Mr. James Cecil Rogers, age 76 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Friday, October 18, 2013 in a Little Rock, Arkansas hospital. Mr. Rogers was born on, Tuesday, September 21, 1937 in Hope, Arkansas to Cecil Oliver and Olive Estelle Henry Rogers. He was a retired agent for the Arkansas Gazette Newspaper and a member and Deacon of Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include; his wife, of 56 years, Lucille Johnson Rogers of Hope, son; Ray Rogers and Mary of Dale, Texas, daughter; Diane Ward and Ronnie of Spring Hill, sister; Mary Alice Sutton and Howard of Blanchard, Louisiana, grandson; Jeremy Daniel Ward of Spring Hill and great-granddaughter; Ellery Claire Ward and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Visitation for Mr. Rogers, 6:00 to 8:00pm, on Monday, October 21 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope.
