Charles Ray "Chuck" Cox, age 60 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at his home in Hope. He was born February 6, 1957 in Chicago, Il. To the late Wrenford Willis and Jerrye Pat Walker Cox. Chuck was a Mortician/Funeral Director for Herndon Funeral Home and a member of the Central Church of Christ. He loved working on his farm tending to his cattle, was a devoted family man, especially with his kids and grandkids. He loved his dogs and loved music, especially old rock and roll. Chuck was an entertainer he loved having a good time and enjoyed life to its fullest.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; His life partner Sissy Smith of Hope, Ar. Six children; Stephanie and husband Heath Gammage of Hope, Arkansas, Justin and wife Megan Cox of Hope, Aaron Cox of Hope
Gina and husband Ray Perez of Texarkana, Texas, Sharon and husband Greg Allen of Taylor, Ar., Philip and wife April Helms of Big Sandy, Texas
One sister; Sharon and husband Chris Carey of Hope
10 Grandchildren; Haylee, Addison, Lilly, Gabriella, Kayla, Rebecca, Tucker, Ginger, Georgia, and Matthew.
A large host of other family and friends too numerous to name.
A visitation will be Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Central Church of Christ from 6 to 8 pm.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10:00 am at Central Church of Christ under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. Local arrangements are by BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie BRAZZEL, Director. Online guestbook: www.brazzelfuneralhomes
