Charles Mitchell Lester, born on November 30, 1965, in Hope, AR was sent to his eternal home on February 14, 2026, in North Little Rock, AR peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Lester; brother, Choya Harris; Mother Katie Lester; and grandfather, Earl Lester.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Joyce Lester. They have a blended family of 2 sons, 3 daughters, 2 daughter in law's, and 2 son in laws(in order youngest to oldest), Cheyenne Adkins (Joe Adkins), Clayton Lester (Kayla Lester), Ashley Pruitt (Jay Pruitt), Patrick Oller (Destiny Oller), Jennifer Oller.

He leaves behind a legacy of 26 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

He was an integral part of the Hope community and widely known for his infectious laugh, kind heart, and his generous spirit. He will be remembered as a man who wore many "hats".

He was a proud volunteer fire fighter throughout his life, serving as fire chief for the last several years. He worked as a dispatcher, broker, and former truck driver. Over the years he connected with and befriended drivers, dispatchers, brokers, and factory staff all over the US. He also served as Constable for DeRoan township for 2 years. He spent time during Covid preaching the gospel to others at Providence Memorial Baptist. He loved participating in and hosting rodeos.

Charlie, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, servitude, and unwavering faith in God.

His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home. No burial to follow.
