Mr. Charles P. Patterson, 80, of Emmet, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Christus St. Michael Health System, Texarkana, Texas. He was born in Waco, Texas, September 15, 1929, to Lee and Ruth McClard Patterson. He was a retired security guard for Red River Army Depot, a Veteran of both the Army and Navy and a member of the V.F.W. of Hope, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Johnny Ray Patterson, and three brothers. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His Wife: Ruth Patterson, Emmet, Arkansas. Two Sons: L.D. Patterson and Barbara, Ft. Worth, Texas Chuck Patterson, Lexington, Oklahoma. Two Daughters: Brenda Shinn, Norman, Oklahoma. Shirley Hight and James, Emmet, Arkansas. Eleven Grandchildren and Thirteen Great-Grandchildren.
