Mr. Charlie Ellis, age 83 of Sutton , Arkansas passed away, Monday, November 21, 2016 in Little Rock , Arkansas . Mr. Ellis was born in Sutton , Arkansas on October 15, 1933 to Dale and Ara Dillard Ellis. He was a retired forest ranger with the Arkansas Forestry Commission, and a cattle rancher. He was a member of Bluff Springs Missionary Baptist Church , which was very dear and near to his heart. He loved his Arkansas Razorbacks and spending time with his family. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children, Peggy Ann Armstrong Ellis, a brother; Ralph Ellis, a sister; Bonnie Langston and a grandson; Aaron Ellis.

Survivors include: his wife, Gloria Ellis of Sutton, a son; Randy Ellis of Memphis, TN, a daughter; Sandy Ellis of Little Rock, AR, two step-daughters; Lisa McClure of Prescott and Leah Ealy of Little Rock, AR, a brother; Deral "Dody" Ellis and wife, Mary Margaret of Sutton, five grandchildren: Tiffanie Toler of Little Rock, Regan Ellis of Little Rock, Whitney Vardaman of Little Rock, Liam Chappelle of Lewisville, Macy Volentine of Little Rock, seven grandchildren, and his beloved dog; Snow Baby of Sutton.

The Ellis Family ask that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Harmony Cemetery Fund 170 Nevada 269 Emmet, AR 71835.

Visitation is 1:00 to 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Harmony Methodist Church .

Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Harmony Methodist Church in Sutton with Bro. Donnie Dillard officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery .
