Mr. Chester Jordan Fitz, Jr., age 76, of Hope, passed away, Friday January 17, 2014, at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Fitz was born May 10, 1937, in Amarillo, Texas to Chester Fitz, Sr., and Edna Turner Fitz. He was a retired Conductor from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, served in the United States Army and was of the Protestant faith. Mr. Fitz was preceded in death by his parents, and wife of 30 years, Janice Moore Fitz. Mr. Fitz is survived by his daughters, Camille Tanner of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Joyce Jones of San Jose California, sister, Judy James and husband Bobby of Hope and by two grandchildren.
