Chester Raymond McDaniel, born to Arline Ruth Sprott McDaniel and Chester Hill McDaniel on September 11, 1928 in Brackettville, TX, died November 18, 2008 in Houston, TX at the age of 80. On September 18, 1953, Raymond married Eleanor Nichols, with whom he shared his life until her passing on February 2, 2000. Mr. McDaniel is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Jones and is survived by his daughter, Marla McDaniel of Houston; son-in-law, Randy Jones; grandchildren, Andrew Jones and Jennifer Jones; sister, Carol Laman; and nephews, Steve and David Laman. Memorial Services were held Friday, November 21, 2008 at Kingwood Church of Christ followed by graveside services at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2008 in Central Church of Christ Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas with Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
