Mr. Chris "Bubba" Nelson, age 36 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015. He was born August 17, 1979 in Columbus, Georgia to Mike and Gail Graddy Nelson. He graduated Hope High School in 1997 and graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 2001 with a degree in Business Management. He was a true fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Hope Bobcats through the good and the bad times. Bubba was a loving and devoted father, husband, son, and brother that was dearly loved by all and will always be missed. Mr. Nelson is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Beatrice and Robert Graddy, and his paternal grandparents; Vivian and Chester Nelson. Survivors include: his parents, Mike and Gail Nelson of Hope, Arkansas, his wife, Melissa Nelson of Hope, Arkansas, two sons; Carter and Colin Nelson, father and mother-in-law, Steve and Sherri Niemyer of Rosston, Arkansas, one brother, Rob Nelson and his wife, Sarah, of Bentonville, Arkansas, two nieces; Emma Nelson and Callie Morrison, two nephews; Jordon Ross and Jayden Morrison, one aunt, Diane Seaver, one cousin, Keith Edgar, and a host of friends. Visitation is 1:00-4:00pm, Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00am, Monday, October 12, 2015 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro.
