Cindy Kay Huckabee Ortiz, Age 55, passed away on December 16th, 2023, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Cindy was born October 9th, 1968, to Alvin and Elsie Huckabee. She graduated from Hope High School and later attended the University of Arkansas and obtained a degree in Human Resources and a minor in Adult Education. Cindy was a hard worker for 25 plus years doing what she loved. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, getting pedicures and eating sushi. She enjoyed being a dog mom to three pups. She loved to swim and tan by the pool. Cindy had the sweetest soul and always loved doing things for others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Elsie Huckabee, her brother Sandy Huckabee, her husband Stanley Jernigan, and her late husband Juan Ortiz.

She is survived by her granddaughter and grandson in law, David and Erin Dixon of Little Rock, Arkansas, and great-grand Averie Dixon, her cousin Kathy Prescott of Longview, Texas, her two nephews Stephen Christopher and Alexander Wilson Huckabee, Both of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Neil Ridling officiating. Burial will follow at Huckabee Cemetery.
