MR. DUDLEY MAYTON, 84, Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at his home. He was born on June 7, 1924 in Patmos, Arkansas to Robert Bob and Jennie Martin Mayton. He was a retired steel worker from Armco Steel with thirty-four years of service; a cattleman and a member of Patmos Baptist Church, Patmos, Ark. He was an Army Veteran or World War II having served in the Tank Corps under General Patton. He was preceded in death by his wife, M. Juanita Mayton, who died October 7, 2008; two brothers, Sevia and Dale Mayton; and one sister, Lorine Foster. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE SON: Cliff Mayton and Georgianna, Spring, Texas. ONE DAUGHTER: Donna Chance and LeRoy, Houston, Texas. TWO SISTERS: Lucille Gorham, Houston, Texas. Martha Sissy Hillin and Joe, Houston, Texas. FOUR GRANDCHILDREN: Cliff Mayton, Jr. and Kristina. Bob Mayton and Lindsey. Joy Mayton. Paul Chance and Lee Ann. THREE GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Trey Mayton, Klaudia Chance, Colin Chance And Greysen Mayton. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22,2008, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Jerry T. Crane officiating. Burial to follow.
