Mrs. Cordia Lee "Muldrow" Charles, age 104, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehab in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Mrs. Charles was born July 20, 1909, in Blevins, Arkansas to Emanuel Wardie and Harriet Johnson Muldrow. Mrs. Charles was a member of Ward Chapel AME Church in Prescott and a home maker. Mrs. Charles was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chester Charles, son, Harold Charles, brothers, Harmon Muldrow and Osroe Muldrow, sisters, Ruby Muldrow, Arrilla Green, Josie Curry, Lula Franklin, Bertha Zachery and Irene Brown. Mrs. Charles is survived by son, Vernon Charles of Rockford, Illinois, daughter, Ozie Bell Charles, of Prescott, brother, Rufus Muldrow of Chicago, Illinois, brother- in- law, Dexter Charles of Seattle, Washington, Four grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be Saturday, February 15, 2014, from 11:00 to 12:00pm, at Ward Chapel AME Church in Prescott, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 12:00pm, Saturday, February 15, 2014, at Ward Chapel AME Church in Prescott, Arkansas. Burial will follow in De Ann Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas.
