Rev. Coy Eugene Zumwalt, age 88, of Blevins, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville, Arkansas. He was born in Pike City, Arkansas, on June 16, 1922, to Carl and Hilda Botsford Zumwalt. He was a Minister for 60 years, a member of the Rotary Club, Order of the Eastern Star, 33rd Degree Mason and member of the Whitfield Lodge # 239, a former member of Golden K. Kiwanis, a veteran of World War II having served in the Army Air Corp. and a member of Sweet Home Church in Blevins, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother William Roy Red Zumwalt and one sister Helen Johnson. His Survivors Include his wife of 68 years: Audrey Graves Zumwalt, Blevins, Arkansas. Three Sons: Coy Eugene Zumwalt, Jr., Universal City, Texas; Steven Dale Zumwalt, Kiowa, Colorado and Damon Ray Zumwalt, Northridge, California. Two Daughters: Darlene Joy Seamans, Blevins, Arkansas and Anita Gail Kinser Maradiaga, Temecula, California. One Brother: Henry Zumwalt, Blevins, Arkansas. Three Sisters: Leola Willard, Walla Walla, Washington; Louise Hooker Byers, Texarkana, Arkansas and Glendene Venable, Rolla, Missouri. Eighteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Five Great-Grandchildren, Five Great-Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2010, at First Baptist Church, in Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Jerry Hill and Rev. Charlie Zumwalt officiating.
