Curtis Lee Johnson of Prescott Arkansas passed away on May 13, 2026. He was born on November 15, 1930, to Doyle and Carrie Copeland Johnson. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Johnson, and his parents. Also preceeding him in death are his 5 sisters, Louise Knaack, Janette Graf, Janelle Berman, Lois Jean Johnson, Judy Johnson, one brother, Joe Copeland, and one granddaughter, Kristen Johnson.
Curtis Lee is survived by two sons, Tommy Johnson (Margie), Tim Johnson (Diane), one daughter, Kathy Williams (Rick), grandchildren Heather Eshenbaugh (Bryan), TJ Johnson (Jenni), Darryl Pickett (Crystal), Amber Morrison (Nicky), Maranda Davidson (Jason), Kayce Johnson and Dane Meredith, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other family members and a host of friends.
Curtis Lee served in the Arkansas National Guard for 43 years, where he retired as a first sergeant. He was a charter member of the Prescott Lions Club where he served for 53 years. During this time, he served multiple positions, including the 7L District Governor and 7L Vice District Governor. He was a member of the Nevada County Quorum Court for 46 years and served as a justice of the peace, marrying hundreds of couples throughout the years. He was a volunteer fireman for the Prescott Fire Department for 24 years. He was a deacon for the Prescott Church of Christ for 62 years. He coached Little League baseball for 8 years. The Nevada County Chamber of Commerce awarded him Citizen of the Year award in 2016, and the Treasure of Gold award in 2009.
Pallbearers will be Jason Davidson, Jarek Davidson, Jaxon Davidson, Jaden Williams, Noah Johnson, Kristopher Horne, Levi Morrison, and Jase Morrison. Honorary pallbearers are Nate Johnson and Hunter Pickett.

Visitation will be held 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Prescott Church of Christ. Burial will follow at DeAnn Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Ben Brazzel, Director.
