Mrs. Daisy E. Smith, age 83 of Alexander, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 14, 2015. Mrs. Smith was born April 18, 1932 in Quincy, Illinois, to David Earl and Sadie Lou Swigit Wristen. She is of the Christian Faith and she was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, David and Sadie Wristen, two brothers; Otis and Paul Wristen, one sister, Mary Hamilton, and one son, Dobbie Smith.

Survivors include: four sons; Early Smith and his wife, Theresa, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Billy Smith of Paris, Arkansas, Otis Smith and his wife, Joyce, of Carlisle, Arkansas, Daniel Smith and his wife, Tammy, of De Valls Bluff, Arkansas, two daughters; Reda Shaddon of Lonoke, Arkansas, Cyndi Thomas and her husband, Elmo, of De Ann, Arkansas, one daughter-in-law, Paulette Smith of Mayflower, Arkansas, a special friend of 28 years, Jerry Wilson of Alexander, Arkansas, fifteen grandchildren, twenty eight great-grandchildren, sixteen great-great-grandchildren, and other numerous relatives and friends.

There will be no visitation.
