Obituary

Mr. Robert Dale Bonds, 93 of Blevins passed away, Thursday, February 14, 2013 in Hope. Mr. Bonds was born in Blevins, Arkansas on February 20, 1919 to Roy and Irene Honea Bonds. Mr. Bonds was retired from the State of Arkansas as a Game Warden and as an Arkansas State Highway Police Officer. He was a founding member of Marlbrook Baptist Church, a Army Veteran of World War II, an avid hunter, fisherman and especially loved country music. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, of 71 years, Helen Wade Bonds, who passed away in 2012, his brother, Watt Bonds, grand-daughter; Nikki Neece Turner and son-in-law, George Lovette. Survivors include; son; Jimmy Bonds, wife, Pam of Texarkana, Texas, daughters; Jamie Steed, husband, Bobby of Blevins, Delaine Neece of Haslet, Texas and Nancy Lovette of Blevins, 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00pm, Saturday, February 16 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Arkansas Childrens Hospital 1 Childrens Way Little Rock, AR 72202-3591. Funeral service for Mr. Bonds, 2:00pm, Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Marlbrook Baptist Church in Blevins, with Bro. Jerry Hill and Bro. Corey Perkins officiating.
