Mrs. Dana Leigh Langston Powell, age 48 of the Langston Community, passed away, Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born December 21, 1966 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Jesse R. Langston and Sherry Lambert Langston. Dana was a home maker, member of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Emmet, Arkansas. She was a very loving wife, mother, daughter and was totally devoted to her family. She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and working in her garden. Dana is survived by her husband of 28 years, Gary Powell of the Langston Community, her father; Jesse R. Langston, wife, Nell of the Langston Community, her mother; Sherry Lambert Warren of Sutton, Arkansas, her three sons; Gary "Boo" Powell, Jr, wife, Mary, Spencer R. Powell and R. Dakota Powell, her brother Tommy Langston all of the Langston Community, her three grandchildren; Colt, Aaliyah and Jaxs Powell. Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm, on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope. Funeral service 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope.
