Daniel Gene "Danny" Lauterbach of Hope, Arkansas, age 72, passed away on Thursday September 21, 2023, in Texarkana, TX. Born on October 2, 1950, to Harry Edgar and Melba Jean Lauterbach. He retired from Safeway Grocery Company as Produce Manager and Southern Bakery as a Customer Service Manager, was a member of the Garrett Memorial Baptist Church where he served faithfully in many capacities. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and two brothers Donald and Billy Lauterbach.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Carolyn Lauterbach, sons Casey Lauterbach ( Amy) of Texarkana, TX, and Todd Lauterbach of Hope, AR, daughters Shannon Morales (Fernando) of Garland, TX and Melanie Lauterbach of Hope, AR, brother Jack Lauterbach (Vera) of Waxahachie, TX, four sisters Elizabeth Bobo "Liz" of Fort Worth, TX, Gail Gibson of Garland, TX, Mary May of Rowlett, TX, Linda Bell of Hope, AR, eight grandchildren Shafer Morales, Carlee Morales, Joshua Lauterbach, Caleb Lauterbach, Gage Sanders, Logan Lauterbach, Will Lauterbach, Lilly Lauterbach and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday September 26, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Garrett Memorial Baptist Church in Hope, AR. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at Garrett Memorial Baptist Church with Bro. Clif Johnson officiating and burial to follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in DeAnn.
