Obituary

David Dewayne Cox of Alpharetta, Georgia went to be with our heavenly father on September 26, 2012 Lil' David made his appearance in this world on June 9, 1989 to his parents Donnie Ray Cox and Dorothy Fay Adams. His siblings Angela and Nathan proudly awaited him. Lil' David grew up in Blevins Arkansas where he graduated high school in 2007. During high school he was active in several school clubs and was very outgoing, after graduating ,he decided to take an adventure to attend college at Georgia premier college in Alpharetta, GA, while staying with his cousins Ronald and Trudy Cox. He continued his education while working as a fashion model and as a server at the Country Club of the South. At an early age he knew how to make people smile Lil' David never met a stranger and touched so many lives in the short time he was here. He was an adventurer who loved skydiving, snow skiing, bungee jumping, hiking, mountain biking, and anything to do with water. He loved to smile and cheer other people up. Lil' David was a member of Marlbrook Baptist Church in Blevins Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his dad Donnie Ray Cox,maternal grandfather Reid Hill Sr. paternal grandparents Ann and Rat Cox, and his one true love Emma J Alexander. Lil David is survived by his mother and stepfather Dorothy and Don Adams of Fulton Arkansas, one sister and brother-in- law Angela and Clint Maroney of Laneburg , Arkansas, one brother Nathan Cox,(Kerra Bush)of Fulton, Arkansas, Maternal grandmother Dorthy Hill of DeAnn, Arkansas; two nieces Jacie Jerrell of Laneburg, Arkansas and Darcy Cox of Fulton Arkansas; three nephews Ethan Gerald of Laneburg, Arkansas, Blain Cox of Fulton, Arkansas and Jex Cox of Fulton, Arkansas, one very special friend Allison Collins of Alpharetta,Georgia and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 5:00pm at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope, Arkansas. Funeral services will be October 1, 2012 at 2:00pm at Marlbrook Baptist Church in Blevins Arkansas, with Bro. James McCain officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery in Blevins, Arkansas. A love fund in memory of David Cox has been set up at Summit Bank in Hope ,Arkansas to help with funeral expenses.
