Mr. David Dodds Griffin, 62, of Gurdon, Arkansas, (formerly of Hope, Arkansas), passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Baptist Health Medical Center, Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He was born in Monahans, Texas, on March 4, 1948, to Charles Samuel and Georgia Evelyn Dodds Griffin. He was a Sales Manager for Anthony Timberland in Beirne, Arkansas, and a member of the First Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tommy Griffin. His Survivors Included: His wife: Leavon Wallace Griffin, Gurdon, Arkansas. One Daughter: Angie Ralph and Ronnie, Hope, Arkansas. Two Sons: Chad Griffin, Los Angeles, California and Jimmy Baker and Tabitha, Rison, Arkansas. Two Sisters: Betsy Langston and Dennis, Hope, Arkansas and Kathy Griffin, Little Rock, Arkansas. Four Grandchildren: Griffin Ralph, Gavin Ralph, Zane Baker, and Alyssa Lampton. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2010, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, in Hope, Arkansas, with Rev. Stan Parris and Rev. Phillip Runyan officiating.
