Mr. Delmar Tyree, 75 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away, Thursday, June 30, 2011 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mr. Tyree was born Thursday, November 21, 1935 in Prescott, Arkansas to Ira and Grace Cottingham Tyree. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Prescott. He was a Farmer, Rancher and was involved in timber management, where he had worked for Ozan Timber Co., Potlatch and a former Owner of Prescott Land and Timber Company in Prescott, Arkansas. Mr. Tyree was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lou Bricker. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 52 and a half years, Joyce Haynie Tyree of Prescott, his two sons; Ed Tyree and wife, Dana of Hamburg, AR and Jake Tyree and wife, Carol of Prescott, his daughter; Anita Rodgers of Prescott, five grandchildren: James Rodgers, Nolan Rodgers, Katie Tyree, Marla Hampton and Daniel Hampton, 9 Great-grandchildren and other family members and friends. Family to receive friends, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Brazzel/Cornish funeral home of Prescott, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott. Bro. Neil Ridling and Bro. Bill Fish will officiate.
