MR. DELMORE "DEL" BURNS, 77, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Medical Park Hospital, Hope, Arkansas. He was born December 14, 1932, in Lewisville, Arkansas to Eldridge and Cleo Burns. He was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Burns was a former Vice President and Production Manager for Spears Carpet Mills, a truck dispatcher, and security guard. He was known by many as "Farmer Del" . He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Augustine Leubner, two brothers; Elmore Burns and Wilburn Burns, one grandson; Shannon Pauley, and one granddaughter; Angel Burns. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: WIFE: Adeline "Toni" Comeaux Burns. TWO DAUGHTERS: Deone Powers and Dan, Brownfield, Texas, Adeline Wyatt, Mount Morris, Michigan. TWO SONS: Mark Burns and Bonnie, Hope, Arkansas, Dwayne Burns, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. ONE SISTER: Nell Freeman and Harold, Hope, Arkansas. ONE BROTHER: Milburn Burns and Ann, Lewisville, Arkansas. TEN GRANDCHILDREN: Jason Pauley, Andy Still, Jeremy Still, Eldon Still, Karolyn Hungerford, Jacqueline May, Taylor Burns, Lindsey Burns, Spencer Burns, and Riley Burns. FOURTEEN GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Brandon Byrd, Jake Pauley, Summer Pauley, Garret Pauley, Madison Hungerford, Christian Ray, Ayden Denton, Kaylea Ray, Alex Tillery, Dillan Still, Dominic May, and Nathan Powers. And A Number Of Other Relatives and Friends. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 10:00 a. m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Central Cemetery, Hope, Arkansas, with Mr. Harold Freeman and Mr. Billy Cutchall officiating. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Hope, Arkansas.
