Mrs. Delores Spruell Powell, age 68 of Patmos, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 3, 2016. She was born in Plain Dealing, Louisiana on September 24, 1947 to William A. and Gladys Ameis Spruell. She is a retired secretary with Medical Park Hospital in Hope and she was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Delores was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and just loved being outdoors. She is preceded in death by her parents, William A. and Gladys Ameis Spruell.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years; Rondale Powell of Patmos, six daughters; Sharon Morse, husband, Haskell, Karen Johnson, Jennifer Smith, husband, Allen, Ginger Moss, husband Kelvin all of Hope, Rhonda Smith and Wendy Williams both of Texarkana, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren other family member and friends.

Donations can be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

There is no formal visitation.
