Obituary

Mrs. Deronda Rae Ferguson Cloyd, age 80, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at her home. She was born April 29, 1932, in Nashville, Arkansas, to Erbon Ray and Mildred McMullan Ferguson. Mrs. Cloyd was a homemaker, former employee of Klipsch in Hope, and a member of Unity Baptist Church. She loved to work outside in her yard planting things and also loved to work with her hands doing things such as woodwork and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Glen Beavers and Phillip W. Cloyd, a brother, Jodie Ferguson, and a grandson, Tye Beavers. Mrs. Cloyd is survived by three sons, Mike Beavers and wife Pat of Hope, David Beavers and wife Suzanne of Spring Hill, Arkansas, and Gary Beavers of Hope, a sister, Erma Boyce of Columbus, Arkansas, five grandchildren, Joey Beavers, Corey Beavers, Malinda Brinkmeyer, Miranda Cole, and Sabrina Beavers, seven great-grandchildren, numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, April 5, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Funeral service for Mrs. Cloyd will be 10:00 am, Saturday, April 6, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, Bro. Glen Tropp officiating. Burial will follow at Columbus Cemetery in Columbus, Arkansas. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel, Director.
