Mr. DeVoyt Wayne Whatley, age 54, of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday, January 28, 2014, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born November 27, 1959, in Eldorado, Arkansas to Henry and Melba Sinclair Whatley. Mr. Whatley was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Whatley was preceded in death by his father, Henry Whatley sister, Barbara "Tuttie" Gray, grandparents, Andrew and Mary Whatley, and Lafayette and Mary Sinclair, and by a grandchild. Mr. Whatley is survived by his mother, Melba Sinclair Whatley of Hope, sons, Josh Whatley and Jesse Whatley from Rosston, Arkansas, daughters, Tara Nowlin of Camden and Erica Dean of Rosston, Arkansas, brothers, Johnny Whatley and wife Tersea and Roy Whatley and wife Lindsey of Hope, Arkansas, sister, Marilyn Fincher of Hope, special brother and sister, Jeff Gray and wife Vickie , seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Whatley will be 2:00pm to 4:00pm, Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service for Mr. Whatley will be 2:00pm, Monday, February 3, 2014, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, with Bro.
