Mrs. Beulah Dollie Formby Powell of Hope, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 in Stamps, Arkansas. She was born April 4 , 1913 in Lafayette County, Arkansas to Edgar Hill Formby and Carrie P. Sinclair Formby. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Patmos for over 80 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest hobby was working in her garden and growing flowers of any kind. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford Powell of 56 years, one brother Hoyice Formby and one sister Audi Barbaree. Her survivors include: five sons; Roderick Powell and wife Wanda of Hope, Rondale Powell and wife Delores of Hope, Hillery Powell and wife Barbara of New Hope, Arkansas, Lindy Powell and wife Pat of Hope and Burnice Powell also of Hope. One daughter: Nancy Dean and husband Gary of Stamps, Arkansas. twenty-six grandchildren and twenty- three great grandchildren Family will receive Friends: Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home, Hope, AR. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Powell will be 2:00 p.m. Monday April 29, 2013 at Mt. Nebo Church in Patmos with Rev. Bruce Porter officiating. Burial to follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
