Don Franklin Kauffman, 83, of Hope went to be with his Lord on September 5, 2023, at Hospice of Texarkana surrounded by family and friends. He was born November 19, 1939, in Dewitt, AR to John and Mary Kauffman. He retired from a career in sales of 45 years. He was a faithful member and deacon at Unity Baptist Church of Hope, a member of Gideons International, and loved to share God's word with others.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother John Kauffman, Jr.

Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Leona Kauffman, a son Jeffery Kauffman and wife Rosie of Hope, grandson Allen Kauffman and wife Kristen of Texarkana, granddaughter, Alicia Wheelington, husband Brandon, of Sachse, TX, three great grandsons Simon Kauffman, Andrew Kauffman and Levi Kauffman, an Aunt Barbara McElwain, nephew John Kauffman and niece Jennifer.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Gideons International or Unity Baptist Church of Hope.

Visitation will be Friday September 8, 2023, from 6-8 PM at Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel, 1001 South Main St. Hope, AR 71801.

Funeral Service will be Saturday September 9, 2023, at 2 PM at Unity Baptist Church of Hope with Bro. Mike Puckett and Bro. Nick Flowers Officiating.
