Donald Wayne Britt, 76, of Texarkana, AR passed away Monday, August 12, 2024.

Don was born January 28, 1948 to Joseph C. Britt and Nadine (Anderson) in Hope, AR.

Don is preceded in death by his father, Joe.

Don is survived by his mother and two sisters, Anita (Terry) Blackmon of Dallas, Texas and Debbie Lemley of Texarkana, Arkansas, Also surviving are the following nieces and nephew Sharon Blackmon, Beverly (Rob) Vasquez of Grapevine, Texas, Amber Blackmon of Desoto, Texas, and Jeremy (Brandi) Matherly of Sterlington, Louisiana. His great nephews are Jacob Vasquez, Cooper Matherly, and Seth Vasquez and great nieces include Isabella Vasquez. Madison Epps, Leanna (Evan) Bunting.

Don is also survived by two aunts, Eura Gilbey and Helen Wood of Hope, AR as well as many cherished cousins, friends, and family.

Don served in the Air Force and retired from Domtar paper mill in Ashdown, AR. He had numerous jobs through the years, including Bowie County Deputy Sheriff and Wadley Hospital.

An informal visitation will be Saturday, August 24th from 1:00-5:00 pm at the Hope Church of Christ Fellowship Building in Hope, Arkansas.
