Mr. Donald Ray Brooks, age 73, of Atlanta, Texas, passed away, Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Prescott, Arkansas. He was born January 17, 1940, in Corsicana, Texas, to Clarence Albert and Dixie Bates Brooks. Mr. Brooks was self employed as a mobile home repair and service man. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Dennis Brooks, a brother, Marvin Brooks, and four sisters, Mable, Geraldine, Dorothy and Hazel. Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Clydell Tullis Brooks, three sons, Donald L. Brooks, Jr. and wife Stacy of Hope, Arkansas, J. J. Taylor of Hot Springs, Arkansas, James Taylor of Lubbock, Texas, two daughters, Nina Brooks of Cut Shoot, Texas, Jerri Moses and husband Jay of Spring Hill, Arkansas, a brother, Larry Wayne Brooks of Cut Shoot, Texas, seventeen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, numerous other family members and a host of friends.
