Services for Donald "Donnie" Ray Clements, 81 of Gladewater, TX will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, Arkansas with Reverend Gladney Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Cemetery in Springhill, Arkansas. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 1 PM until 8 PM at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home.
Born October 16, 1944, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, he entered into eternal rest to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
Donnie's life was a living testimony of his deep love, unwavering faith and devotion to his Lord and Savior. He was a devoted and loving husband and father who cherished his family.
Donald graduated in 1969 from what is now known as Louisiana Tech University, in Ruston, LA with a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a civil engineer, building roads, bridges, buildings and many other projects for 26 years before retiring. A few years later, he went to work for Mayhan Fabricators in Union Grove, TX, as their first and only engineer, where he worked for the next 24 years before finally retiring for a second time in 2021.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Bonnie Conley Clements; and his in-laws, Don Dolvin and Mamie Lee Arnett Stevenson.
Donald is survived by the loving wife of 60 years, Donna Jane Clements of Gladewater, Tx; sons Jeffrey Fredrick Clements and his wife Carol of East Mountain, TX; Jonathan Ray Clements of South Bend, IN; siblings Harmon Clements, Hulene Rogers, Jimmy Clements, and Charlie Joe Clements; four grandchildren, Sara, Joseph, Rachel, and Ginger; six great-grandchildren, Jayden, Nicole, Grayson, Liam, Madeleine, and Nolan Jeffrey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
