Mrs. Donna Lou Collins, age 76 of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday March 10, 2022, in Texarkana, Texas. She was born April 26, 1945 to Don and Lillian Johnson Welden in Birmingham, Alabama. Donna was a life-long hairdresser. She loved to travel with her husband, Wayne, and spend time with family. She is preceded by her father, Don Welden.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Wayne Collins of Texarkana, TX; two sons, Greg Collins, wife Elaine of Little Rock, AR, Brandon Collins of San Antonio, TX; her mother, Lillian Welden of Copperas Cove, TX; two brothers, Jay Welden, wife Sandy and Lee Welden, all of North Platte, NB; two sisters, Lynell Welden of Copperas Cove, TX and Crystal Stewart, husband Bill of Evansville, IN; three grandchildren, Jacob, Justin and Jordan Collins all of Little Rock, AR, and a host family and friends.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2022 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home, 1001 S. Main Hope, AR 71801.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
