Mrs. Dora Mae Gillispie, age 91, of Hope, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Texarkana, TX. She was born on November 24, 1932, to Harvey and Sally Powell. She was a long time member at Harvest Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, husband Charles Gillispie, two sisters Helen Smith and Marlene Amos.

She is survived by her two daughters Norma Culley of Washington, AR, Jane Cogar of Hooks, TX, brother William Powell of Hope, AR, two grandchildren Robert Culley and Heather Culley, six great grandchildren Megan, Jessie, Paul, Jackie, Madison, and Abby, four great great grandchildren Rusty, Myles, Aniya, and Noelani.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Oakcrest Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
