MRS. DORIS LAVERNE BARBER, 83, Bodcaw, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008, in Heather Manor Nursing & Rehab, Hope, Arkansas. She was born on April 5, 1925 in Fairfield, TX, to Ernest and Robbie Minchew. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church, Bodcaw, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Bud Minchew. HER SURVIVORS INCLUDE: ONE SON: Steven Dearing, Rosston, Ark. ONE SISTER: Nell Stubbfield, Crockett, Texas. And Two Grandchildren and Four Great-Grandchildren. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2008, Union Baptist Church, Bodcaw, Ark., with Rev. Joe Brown officiating.
