Mrs. Doris Harris McDougald, age 94, of Lexington, Mississippi, passed away, Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Lexington. She was born June 13, 1918, in Portland, Oregon to Grady and Clara Harris. A former resident of Prescott, Arkansas, she moved to Lexington, Mississippi in 1967 where she was a successful business woman for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, L. Reese McDougald, and infant daughters, Rebecca and Letha. Mrs. McDougald is survived by a son Oscar Grady McDougald and wife Clarkie of Lexington, Mississippi, four daughters, Annette Pate and husband Don of Edmond, Oklahoma, Clare Music of Golden, Colorado, Sonja Cox and husband David of Houston, Texas, Leminda Davenport of Daphne, Alabama, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, numerous other family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, May 10, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral service for Mrs. McDougald will be 10:00 am, Saturday, May 11, at the Prescott Church of Christ, Mr. Harley Sisson and Mr. Paul Robinson officiating.
