Mrs. Dorothy J. Briggs age 87 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Wadley in Texarkana, TX. Dorothy was born September 6, 1931 in Genoa, Arkansas to William Otis and Blanche Adell Haymon Briggs. She was a retired retail worker and loved to crochet. Her favorite past time was enjoying her music and playing the guitar. She was known as the Queen of Monster City Jamboree! She was also of Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Garvin Leon Lott Sr., a daughter, Elizabeth Adell Lott, three brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include her two sons, Garvin Lott Jr. (Phyliss) of Hope, AR, Bobby Lott (Fayola) of Texarkana, TX, nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.

No visitation is planned.
