Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" E. Byers, age 84 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Monday, December 26, 2016 in Hope.  Mrs. Byers was born in Meridian, Mississippi on March 20, 1932 to G.D. and Lois Pool.  Dorothy was a home maker, a stay at home mother, taking care of the kids, and a member of the Shover Springs Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Bruce Lofton of Meridian, MS and Rick Byers of The Woodlands, TX, four brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Byers is survived by her husband, Charles Byers of Hope, son; Scott Byers, wife, Jenny of Hope, daughter; Debbie Roberts, husband, Donnie of Mabank, TX, sister; Quida Perkins of Meridian, MS and daughter-in-law, Terri Byers, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, other family member and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Shover Springs Baptist Church with Bro.
