Mr. James Douglas "Doug" Collier, age 81 of Shover Springs, Arkansas, passed away Friday August 9, 2019, in a local nursing home. Doug was born on July 23, 1938, in Hope, Arkansas, to Leo and Dora Jackson Collier. He was member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, retired truck driver and a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam war. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Dora Launius.

Survivors include: wife, Brenda Collier of Shover Springs, one son: James Collier, one daughter: Renee Collier, one brother: Eugene Collier ,wife Paulette of Shover Springs, one sister: Sharon Rust of Longview, Texas two step-sons: Curtis Laurel, Shon Biddle, three step- daughters Deborah Stockton, Renee Voss, Natalie Biddle, three grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

No family visitation is planned.
