MR. DOUGLAS WARD BRANTLEY, 73, of DeAnn Community of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at his home. He was born April 12, 1935, in Greenville, North Carolina, to Glenn and Louise Waters Brantley. He was a former steel worker, former Meyers truck driver and a cattle farmer. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church and was a former Youth Leader there also; member of Cattlemens Assoc.; V.F.W. of North Carolina; Teamsters Union; North American Hunting Club and was an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; by one brother, Donald; and by one sister, Christine Gilpatrick. HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HIS WIFE: (of 43 years) Betty Sams Brantley, DeAnn, Ark.
