Mr. E.C. Myrick, age 88 of McCaskill, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Nashville, Arkansas. Mr. E.C was born December 27, 1926 in Bingen, Arkansas to Ernest Halford "E.H." and Carrie Thelma Hipp Myrick. He is preceded in death by his parents, a infant son; Mikey Myrick, a infant daughter; Ladonna Myrick, and a sister; Doris Myrick Belote. Mr. Myrick served in the US Army during World War II in Japan, a truck driver and had worked for the Blevins School System, and was a member of Marlbrook Baptist Church. Mr. E.C was a hard worker his whole life, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and a true friend to all that knew him. His favorite hobby was working in his garden, growing his vegetables and working in the hay field during the hay season. His greatest passion in life was to sing gospel songs, which included recording gospel albums. Survivors include; the love of his life, his wife of 41 years, Jeanette Coleman Myrick, who he married in 1973, three sons; Wayne Myrick, Tim Gregory, wife, Sherry, and Mark Gregory, wife, Pam all of McCaskill, his daughters; Barbara Young, husband, Willie of West Memphis, and Sandy Fulton, husband, Bubba of Blevins, his two brothers; Kenneth Myrick of Houston, TX and John Myrick of Blevins, fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren other family member and friends. Visitation, 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, February 13, 2015 at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home 1196 Hwy. 371 West Prescott. Funeral service, 10:00am, Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Friendship United Methodist Church. Rev. David Young and Rev. Lewis Gentry will officiate the service.
