Mrs. Edna Franklin Fielding, age 93, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Tuesday August 6, 2013, at her home. Mrs. Fielding was born June 6, 1920, in Philadelphia, Mississippi to E.S. and Zola Turner Franklin. Mrs. Fielding was a retired secretary to the Superintendent for the Hope Public School, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Hope, since 1932. Mrs. Fielding was preceded in death by her husband Jack Fielding. Mrs. Fielding is survived by her daughters, Sharon Thomason of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jacque Allen and husband Mike of Lincoln, Arkansas, sister, Helen Rutherford of Greenville, Texas, grandchildren, Andy Allen and wife Colleen of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Amy Burtrum and husband Cory of Springdale, Arkansas, and Kerry Cochran and husband Brian of Fayetteville, Arkansas, great- grandchildren, Carter, Clay, Allie, Eli, and Anna Grace. Visitation for Mrs. Fielding will be 1:00pm to 2:00pm, Friday, August 9, 2013, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Hope, 315 South Main, Hope, Arkansas 71801. Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Friday, August 9, 2013, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope with Bro. Mark Fisher officiating. Burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope.
