Mrs. Effie M. Archer, age 88 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Sunday, December 11, 2016 in a local hospital. Mrs. Archer was born in Lewisville, Arkansas on February 20, 1928 to Grady and Annie Everett McKamie.  She worked for the Shan House and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Spring Hill.  Mrs. Archer was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Her hobbies include:  reading and working cross word puzzles. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hoyitt Archer, her two brothers; Clifton Franklin and Cody T. Franklin and one son-in-law, Larry Walden.

Survivors include: two sons; Mike Archer of Hope and Doug Archer and wife, Judy of Birmingham  Alabama, her daughter; Cecilia Walden of Hope, her three sister-in-law, Lona Archer, Bridgit Archer and Frances Franklin, her five grandchildren: Margo Walden, Steven Walden, Gretchen Archer, Jennifer Wyatt and Catherine Boyle, and her two great-grandchildren; Matea Archer and Willa Mae Wyatt, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 S. Main Hope, AR.
